Under Lockdown 5.0, the center made it clear that all temples, churches, and mosques can be opened from June 8th with certain precautions and limitations to the devotees. So, India’s richest Temple is all set to open its gates for the devotees with certain restrictions.
The TTD has already drawn circles all along the darshan lines ensuring a distance of six feet between the devotees. According to TTD, a plan is being drawn up to allow 300 devotees per hour for about 15 hours a day. The SP inspected queue lines and Vaikuntam queue complex and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the TTD.
On Monday, TTD is planning to open the Tirupati temple for pilgrimage with safety and social distancing in place. But, all devotees are not allowed for the first few days and the TTD employees along with the local Tirumala population would be allowed for darshan under a pilot beginning on June 8.
